Residents of Dubbo and surrounding areas are invited to meet with their Local, State and Federal Government representatives at a Community Breakfast this Saturday 6 September at the Church Street Rotunda.
Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton, State Member for Dubbo, Troy Grant and Mayor of Dubbo City Council, Mathew Dickerson will be attending the Breakfast.
Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton said the Community Leaders’ Breakfast offered a great opportunity for local residents to bring issues of particular interest to the attention of elected representatives.
“The Community Leaders’ Breakfast gives citizens of Dubbo the chance to have an informal chat about any matters without having to make an appointment through the office,” said Mr Coulton.
Troy Grant has also encouraged residents to stop by the Rotunda on Saturday morning.
“It’s a great opportunity to talk to the three Levels of Government in the one place and I encourage the community to come down have some breakfast and have a chat, “said Troy Grant, State Member for Dubbo.
Mayor of Dubbo, Councillor Mathew Dickerson said local residents appreciate the opportunity to personally meet their government representatives to ask questions and raise ideas.
“The Community Leaders’ Breakfast has become a regular event and the feedback is always very positive.”
“It is fantastic that individuals have the opportunity to meet with local, state and federal representatives in an informal forum to share concerns, ask questions and bring forward ideas,” Clr Dickerson said.
The Community Leaders’ Breakfast will begin from 8.00am Saturday 6 September at the Church Street Rotunda, Dubbo.
