The Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton said he was honoured to accept the position of Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to do further work for the Government and for the Electorate of Parkes,” Mr Coulton said.
“The economy of our Electorate is underpinned by exports and tourism and I’m really excited about the opportunity to promote new and ongoing prospects for regional NSW and the nation.
Mr Coulton said he will be working closely with Trade Minister Steve Ciobo.
“I’m particularly pleased because I will be working with some countries on free trade agreements and because all of my Electorate relies on trade.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge and I thank Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack for entrusting me with this important role.”
