Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton has called on parents to get behind the Orana Toy Library in Dubbo by becoming a member and volunteering to ensure the service remains viable.
Mr Coulton said that the Orana Toy Library was a great resource for families with a wide range of toys and games for all interests and all ages on offer.
“The committee have been doing a really great job and the variety of toys makes the library an appealing option for all parents and children,” said Mr Coulton.
“Children grow up so quickly, having access to a facility like the Orana Toy Library will ensure that age appropriate toys are available. Playing is a vital part of a child’s development and access to these toys helps to stimulate and educate children in the Dubbo region.”
“Taking advantage of the Toy Library service is also a very cost-effective method of ensuring that your children have access to a diverse range of toys.”
Orana Toy Library is a not for profit incorporated association and is run by a committee of volunteers.
The Orana Toy Library is located under Macquarie Regional Library, Talbragar Street, Dubbo. The Service is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays 10am-
