Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton today visited the Taylor family’s property outside of Wellington to discuss the benefits of sustainably managing natural pasture.
Mr Coulton believes the potential for sequestering carbon under natural pastures is largely under recognised.
The Taylor family have been carefully managing their soils and pastures for many years and Mr Coulton was very impressed with the obvious health of the soils on their property.
Also present was Gulgong farmer Colin Seis and Graeme Hand, Chief Executive Office of STIPA.
