Coulton welcomes funding to local Men’s Sheds

Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton has welcomed the announcement of funding to local Men’s Sheds through Round 2 of the Australian Men’s Shed Association’s (AMSA) Shed Development Program.
The Shed Development Program is administered by the AMSA on behalf of the Federal Government and provides direct financial assistance to existing and new Men’s Sheds.
“I welcome the news of this boost of funding to Men’s Sheds in my electorate,” Mr Coulton said. “I am a huge supporter of the Men’s Shed concept and this funding will assist these Sheds in the purchase of tools and equipment, and allow improvements to be made to existing sheds.”
Successful Parkes Electorate recipients of the Round 2 Shed Development Program include:

· Narromine Men’s Shed Inc $3822
· Warren Menshed Inc $6600
· The Men’s Shed Moree Inc $6600
· Gwydir Shire Council (Bingara Men’s Shed) $6600
· The Coolah Men’s Shed Inc $6600
· Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service (Gunibul M/S) $11,000
