Coulton applauds NSW colleagues on election win

28-March-2011

Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton has congratulated the outstanding success of his NSW Nationals colleagues in the state poll over the weekend.

“This was a clear and deserving win for the NSW Coalition. The results of the Nationals in NSW were outstanding and after 16 years of Labor, I am confident the great state of NSW will flourish again.”

There are seven electorates that are immersed in the Parkes Electorate and Mr Coulton sent his warm congratulations to all the incumbent Members on their re-election and the new members on their election win.

“In particular I congratulate Kevin Humphries and Adrian Piccoli for their re-election. I think this highlights the hard-work and high level representation these members offer their electorates,” Mr Coulton stated. “I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Independent Member Richard Torbay.”

“I welcome the election of new Nationals members Troy Grant for Dubbo, Kevin Anderson for Tamworth, Andrew Gee for Orange and Paul Toole for Bathurst. They have all work very hard in the last six months and I look forward to working with the new members with the same close cooperation I have with the sitting members.”

“I also acknowledge the mighty efforts of Charlie McCowen who worked tirelessly and managed a substantial swing to the Nationals in the Northern Tablelands electorate.”
