Dubbo Sports Awards

Few towns in regional NSW can boast the sporting culture and heritage of Dubbo. The city has always punched above its weight on the sporting field, which is evident in the number of professional sportspeople that the town has produced. This Thursday evening the 8th Annual Dubbo Sports Awards will be held to recognise the outstanding achievements of Dubbo’s most talented sportspeople of 2010.
I will have the pleasure of hosting the event in conjunction with the Dubbo City Sports Council. The evening will be chaired by Dubbo’s foremost sporting commentator, Geoff Mann. We are extremely fortunate to have secured Cricketer Tim Armstrong as the special guest speaker.
The Dubbo Sports Awards will be held on Thursday the 11th November from 7.30pm in the Dubbo RSL Club theatrette. Please come along and celebrate the achievements of all our wonderful sportspeople.
